Refund Policy

14-day refund, no unnecessary questions.

Our commitment: if Sandouq Premium doesn't suit you, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase.

1. Quick summary

Sandouq Premium is a digital product purchased through Paddle, our payment partner (Merchant of Record). We apply a clear refund policy:

  • 14 calendar days after purchase to request a refund
  • Full refund to your original payment method
  • No intrusive questions — we take your word
  • Processing within 5 to 10 business days by Paddle
Compliant with EU Directive

This policy complies with and exceeds the requirements of EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights (14-day withdrawal period for digital products).

2. Eligibility conditions

You can request a refund if:

  • Your purchase is less than 14 calendar days old
  • You are the original purchase holder
  • No fraudulent activity has been detected on your account

Refunds are declined in the following cases:

  • Request made beyond 14 days after purchase (except exceptional circumstances reviewed case by case)
  • Detection of fraudulent use or prior chargeback
  • Clear violation of our terms of use

3. How to request a refund

Send an email to [email protected] with:

  1. Your Paddle transaction ID (in the purchase confirmation email)
  2. The email used at purchase
  3. A short reason (optional but helpful to improve the product)

Sandouq is built by a solo dev — we acknowledge receipt within 48 business hours and initiate the refund process with Paddle within 5 business days maximum after validation. In practice, most requests are processed much faster.

4. Processing time

Once the refund is approved:

  • Paddle initiates the refund immediately
  • Your bank receives it within 5 to 10 business days (depending on country and card type)
  • The refund returns to the original payment method (card, PayPal, Apple Pay, etc.)
  • No additional fee is charged

5. After refund

Once the refund is processed, your Premium access is automatically deactivated on next sync of your app (within 7 days maximum). Your local data remains intact — you can continue using Sandouq in the free version, with standard limits.

6. Special cases

Duplicate purchase

If you accidentally purchased Premium multiple times, contact us immediately. We will refund the additional purchases outside the 14-day window, no questions asked.

Major technical issue

If Sandouq has a technical defect that prevents you from using Premium and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, you are eligible for a refund even after 14 days.

Bank chargeback

We encourage you to contact [email protected] before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks incur fees and can block your Sandouq account. Our refund is faster and has no negative consequences.

7. Paddle contact

Paddle appears as Paddle.com Market Ltd or Paddle.com Ireland Ltd on your bank statement.

8. Policy changes

We may update this policy. Changes only apply to future purchases. Purchases already made remain governed by the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
